Jack La Lanne had just turned 70 when he was handcuffed, shackeld and thrown into California’s Long Beach Harbour. He was fastened to a floating cable attached at the other end to 70 boats each carrying a single person. Battling strong winds and current he swam, towing all 70 boats behind for 1.5miles to Queen’s Way Bridge.

He is hyper-energised, opinionated, possessed with intellectual vigor of an athlete in his 20s. He proves there is a relationship between exercise and mental alertness.
